Select one of the resources in this link and write a one paragraph summary of what you learned and how you plan to apply it to your future classroom.
For this resource, it lists basic specific classroom rules for teachers to adapt in their classrooms. It informs us on rules that should be easy to follow and posted for every student to see, not having too many rules (less than three is not enough and more than 8 may be a bit too much) and you want your rules to be specific and have them apply to many different situations that can occur in the classroom. This resource also stated many basic rules that are incorporated into everyday classrooms. For example, raise your hand before speaking, no cheating, bring materials to class and etc. There was also a video on this page that had a lady talking about the classroom rules and she said something that really stood out to me. She said that teacher could/should incorporate their students into the rules. For example, letting the students maybe write their own rules or let them modify the ones you already have. I thought that this would be a great idea and I will use this method into my classroom because it lets the students feel like their opinions are welcomed and that they are valued.
